Life is an Adventure
Mornin Family n Friends
As many of you know, I’ve spent a large part of my life behind bars, in drug houses, & the streets; I’ve seen some of the worse & the best in people, but these last 6 years have been down right crazy even for me.
i’ve spent my whole life learning everything i could learn. I started off wanting to know cooking so first time to prison i took cooks school at 17 yrs of age (Morganton High Rise, Polk Youth Prison & Sand Hills Youth Camp), I wanted to be an electrician so i went to Earl C. Clemmons Job Corp, I wanted to be more like Jesus so I took Carpentry 1 at Dan River Prison Farm, 3rd time to Dan River i took Carpentry 2, & my 4th time i decided i wanted to learn how to fix my own lil Bike instead of depending on shops so i took small engine repair & the 5th time i wanted to be better at lawn & Garden care so i took Horticulture, again at Dan River Prison Farm & at McLeansville Prison Farm. My 6th time I was told by a boss of mine that i needed to learn Business Admin & Management so i took that too. The 7th time computers were out & i decided i wanted to relearn technology so i took computer repair & intro to computers thru Graham Work Camp (same school I achieved my GED at) at Alamance Community College. By the 8th & 9th time my back & leg was an insurance issue so the state mandated i go to medical camps.
All of my charges were misdemeanors for weed possession, Probation Violations, & DUIs – Never any Violent Charges
Thru ALL this I Always maintained a night job for my taxes & i did my day work as a flooring installer & side jobs thru my own companies. I was able to ride n go where i wanted, when i wanted. I have no kids of my own but helped raise 5 sets of kids. I’ve had my lil Bike since i was 16 yrs old, didn’t need a drivers lic, insurance or tags for my lil Bike. I’ve turned down good paying jobs simply because they wanted to “require” a drug test & i refused to take one. I have even told Judges to lock me up if they wanted to mandate drug testing. What i do on company time is company & professional time, BUT what i do on my own time is MY time.
I’ve done or used almost every street drug under the sun & moon, except ecstasy & using needles. I saw buddies die on those & decided they weren’t for me. I’ve seen a guy hit same crack rock i hit (same batch & same size) go into cardiac arrest, everyone else fled I stayed to call ambulance & left when they were pulling in the driveway of the crack house. I’ve Always tried to do right even though i wasn’t living right.
Hardships aren’t meant to break us, they’re meant to teach us. The hardships we go thru today is to prepare us for challenges we will face later in life. It’s how we grow & learn. We are Human, we do make mistakes. It’s how we accept & grow from those mistakes that makes us better people later in life, BUT Only if we learn from those mistakes.
I’ve had people tell me that i’m a self made man, but i’m Not. God made me thru life experiences some bad and some good. These life experiences are what i draw on now to spot hackers, fakes, tech giant bullies & corrupt officials; this is also what makes me good at it & how i can see thru their BS.
When people say our past doesn’t define us, actually they do – it’s how we take responsibility for those mistakes that helps us over come them.
Not sure who needed to see this but now you know
Stay Safe & God Bless
